Love it love it love it. This or tenth time to Qatar and our second staying in tivoli hotels. Going back in November.

Amazing location in the souq, literally next to the subway. The staff can’t do enough to help, are always friendly and can all speak passable English.

The pool needs work. It is haunted by pigeons but that are working on it.

A beautiful hotel in Souq Waqif but don't try to contact them before you arrive.

The hotel was located in the old marketplace Souq Waqif which I specifically wanted to visit. My room was beautiful.

I chose this hotel because the listing online described it as having an airport shuttle. This was a huge problem: 1. I emailed 3x, txted, and tried to phone the hotel to ask how to find the shuttle when I arrived at Doha airport. The hotel NEVER RESPONDED. 2. booking.com's website said to email them with questions at [email protected], but when this is no longer in use! 3. The hotel front desk manager said that the airport shuttle is very expensive and needs to be arranged in advance! Therefore listing the shuttle in booking.com is wrong and deceptive. ... The hotel emailed me asking for my arrival time. However I could not reply because the email address of the hotel was donotreply!

Great first visit to Doha

Well located. Very comfortable bed. Good chambermaid service. Friendly, helpful staff (less so at breakfast). Stayed in a different building and had to return for breakfast…BUT only 5 mins walk away (with golf buggy shuttle if required). Had a lovely room- especially as I got upgraded to a suite!

Lack of information about how to use controls/ switches in room. Evening meal in attached Georgian restaurant was a bit disappointing.

Perfect location, perfect service, beautiful hotel, very good restaurants, spa and pool, we really enjoyed our stay. Special thank to Rania for her very professional help at check-in.

If one is used to small pillows the ones in the room are all very big, I ended up using my small travel pillow.

Perfect Location for a Short Stopover in Doha

The location of this hotel is fantastic, especially during the cooler months, as you are right in the heart of the old souq (which is still very much a working souq) giving you the opportunity to wander around soaking up the sights and sounds whilst feeling extremely safe. Two of the major museums are also just a stone's throw away from the hotel.

The suite we had in the Al Bidda Hotel felt a little neglected. The room was very spacious but the carpets were badly stained and the bathroom needed an upgrade.

The location is fantastic, in the heart of Doha old souq. The room rate was great. The rooms are spacious. And the bathrooms are clean and big.

The rooms carpet is not clean, as there are some stains on it. The wardrobe is smelly. The room has only tiny window, so no view at all.

Great location, friendly welcome, recommended.

The hotel is in a great location, the group is a regular option for us. You're allocated on arrival, but that's not a problem as they ferry you around if you need help. It's quiet usually, despite being central to the souq, although hoovering at random times and hall noise can happen. Fantastic breakfast location, variety and service.

They soon fixed the twin beds / double bed issue for us, great service. But this meant the lights were exactly in line with where we'd sit in bed, which made it uncomfortable to sit (we couldn't). If they could get an English speaking TV channel (not the hotels' fault but it does affect enjoyment factor) and more tea options that'd be good too.

A fantastic stay in the heart of Doha

Everything. The location is fabulous. A lovely ambience and good choice of restaurants in all the hotels which are part of the tivoli group and around the Souq. The staff give a personal touch to everything and I enjoyed the qahwa, the oud smell, the detail interior which gave each hotel a different character. It was a fantastic stay and I don’t have anything to fault.

A beautiful hotel, direct at the entrance to the souq. The staff was always very helpful, nothing to complain. Nice interior, perfect clean and also quiet. If somebody wants to sleep on a cloud, here you are at the right place! Excellent breakfast, but you have to move to another building (but it is also nice)

Not 5 star hotel, never book as half board.

The room was clean and the staff was lovely and super polite. The location was good.

I have booked the hotel with the expectation of 5 star hotel in Qatar. The hotel is not 5 star , with to be fair is 3.5 to 4 star. I have booked half board for 6 days, a big mistake. The menue for half board was different and much limited from regular costumers of resturants and we end up eating the same food for 5 days. When we complained, the manager dealt with with it in a very unpleasant Way. The hallway,s carpet is full of dirty stains , the smell from breakfast resturant coming up the corridor . The corridors and reception area are not belong to 5 star hotel. The cost was much higher than the same hotels in the neighborhood, may be a few minute walk from souq.
